How long does a crypto transaction take to process?▾
Most USDT transactions are processed within 15–30 minutes after network confirmation. However, during high network congestion, it might take up to an hour. You will receive a WhatsApp notification once the funds are confirmed and sent to your account.
Is there a minimum amount for USDT transactions?▾
Yes. The minimum amount for USDT → TZS exchange is 10 USDT. For USDT → USD cash transactions, the minimum is 50 USDT. For large volumes over 10,000 USDT, please contact us for special rates.
Are there any fees for crypto exchanges?▾
Apex Pesa charges 0% fees for USDT → TZS and USDT → USD exchanges. We make money from the spread in the exchange rate. Note that blockchain network fees (gas fees) are separate and are borne by the sender. We will always be transparent about the exact amount you will receive.
Which blockchain networks do you support?▾
We currently support USDT on the TRC-20 (Tron) network as it has the lowest fees, and ERC-20 (Ethereum) and BEP-20 (Binance Smart Chain). Please always confirm the correct network before sending to avoid loss of funds.

Cash Out (withdrawal) fees are 1% of the transaction amount with a minimum of TZS 500. Same-network Cash In is free. Cross-network Cash In carries a 0.5% fee. Money transfers are a flat TZS 50 regardless of amount.
Is mobile money service available 24/7?▾
Yes! Our mobile money service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays. Response times are typically within 5 minutes via WhatsApp.
What is the maximum transfer limit?▾
Standard mobile money transfers are capped at TZS 5,000,000 per transaction, in line with Bank of Tanzania regulations. For bulk or business transfers exceeding this limit, please contact us on WhatsApp for a custom solution.
